Where it all started - 2020
Selva first picked up a camera not as a profession, but as a way to hold on to passing moments. A deep love for Tamil wedding culture and its rich visual traditions sparked the idea of making photography a vocation.

Starting with close family and friends, the early work earned genuine praise for its emotional candid style. Word spread organically across Ariyalur and neighboring districts.

With consistent demand and a growing portfolio, the studio was formally established under the name Selva’s Phototruck — symbolizing mobility, creativity, and a journey-in-progress spirit.
